Personal Data Protection Notice (KVKK)

1. Data Controller

Go Camty Academy acts as the data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) for the personal data of its users in Turkey. This notice describes how we process your personal data in accordance with KVKK.

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

Identity data (name, surname), contact data (email address, telephone number), financial data (payment information), educational data (lesson history, test results, level), and technical data (IP address, device information, usage data) are processed.

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for: delivery of educational services and fulfilment of contractual obligations; processing of payments; communications regarding your account and lessons; personalisation of the learning experience; legal compliance; and platform security.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Processing is carried out on the following legal bases under KVKK Article 5: (a) fulfilment of a contract to which the data subject is a party; (b) fulfilment of legal obligations; (c) legitimate interests of the data controller; and (d) explicit consent of the data subject where required.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with trusted third-party service providers (payment infrastructure, email delivery, analytics) strictly necessary for service delivery, under confidentiality agreements. In the event of transfer abroad, the safeguards under KVKK Article 9 are ensured.

6. Retention Period

Personal data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and for the legally required retention period thereafter. Data that is no longer necessary for any purpose is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights under KVKK Article 11

You have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information if it is being processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in accordance with its purpose; know the third parties to whom data is transferred; request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction of data; request notification of rectification/deletion to third parties; object to processing by automated means that results in decisions adverse to you; and request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
